Chicken-tikka-masala and pork with pineapple: Ukrainian chef returned from Qatar to cook for the Ukrainian Armed Forces

25-year-old Nazariy Antonchuk worked as a chef in Qatar, and with the outbreak of a full-scale war, he returned to Ukraine. Now he is preparing a real exotic for the military and is developing a new menu for the Ukrainian army.

Nazariy returned to join the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Here he found his calling in the business that he knows and loves best.

Now the Ukrainian military is enjoying chicken with pineapple, lasagna, and in front of the cameras, the chef has prepared chicken-tikka-masala – chicken with Indian spices.

The chief says he studied the army menu of the Americans, the British, and he was surprised that the military eat very diverse.

“I go to battalions and teach, as they cook in ordinary kitchens, as well as in the field ones. People always want to eat, we cannot fight without food,” Nazariy is convinced.

The military is happy to eat exotic and ask for supplements.
