Armed Forces of Ukraine repel Russian attacks near ten settlements

Over the past day, Ukrainian troops repelled Russian attacks in the areas of Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Kurdiumivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Pervomaiske, Pidhorodne, Spirne, Stelmakhivka, and Yakovlivka settlements of Donetsk region.

As noted, the enemy tries to hold the temporarily captured territories, focuses its efforts on restraining the actions of the Ukrainian troops, continues to go on the offensive in certain directions.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched two missile strikes and more than 60 MLRS attacks. Russian rockets hit the civilian infrastructure facilities in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region.

In Volyn, Polissia, and Siversky directions, the situation did not change significantly and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.

In Slobozhansky direction, in the border areas of Russia’s Belgorod region, the enemy continues to shield the Russian-Ukrainian border, conducting demonstration and provocative actions. The Russians opened mortar fire on the areas of Ambarne, Bochkove, Veterynarne, Ohirtseve, and Starytsia settlements of Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy protects the previously captured lines. Artillery shelling was recorded, in particular, in the areas of Krokhmalne and Tabaivka settlements of Kharkiv region; Makiivka, Nevske, Novoselivske, Ploshchanka and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk region, and Berestove in Donetsk region.

In Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, the enemy focuses its main efforts on conducting offensive operations. The invaders fired tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery in the areas of Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamyanske, Vesele, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomykhaylivka, Ozarianivka, Opytne, Pervomaiske, Rozdolivka, Soledar, Spirne and Yakovlivka in Donetsk region.

The enemy defends itself in Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions. The areas of Bohoyavlenka, Vremivka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, and Prechystivka settlements of Donetsk region; Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Malynivka, Orikhiv, Stepove and Charivne settlements of Zaporizhzhia region; Nikopol town in Dnipropetrovsk region came under enemy artillery fire.

In Kryvyi Rih and Kherson directions, the enemy focuses on defending positions, improves fortifications and logistical support of advanced units. To find out the positions of Ukrainian troops and adjust the artillery fire, the enemy conducts aerial reconnaissance with UAVs. The invaders opened tube and rocket artillery fire in the areas of the settlements of Vesele, Vysuntsi, Klapai and the city of Kherson.

In the Liubymivka settlement of the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region, the occupiers, under the guise of searching for sabotage and reconnaissance groups, illegally break into private houses and loot the property of local residents.

It was confirmed that a column of Russian occupation forces was hit in the area of Syrotyne settlement in Luhansk region. Information on enemy losses is being specified.

Forced resettlement of local residents is underway in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region. In particular, the residents of Bilovodsk were forcibly resettled to Luhansk city.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force launched six attacks on the enemy, striking the enemy troops buildup three times and the enemy air defense positions three times more.

Ukraine’s missile and artillery units struck two command posts, an ammunition depot, fives areas of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment buildup, and two other important enemy objects.
