Russia is isolated from the world because of the war in Ukraine — U.S. Department of State

According to Spokesman for the United States Department of State Ned Price, Russia found itself in economic, financial, political, and diplomatic isolation from the rest of the world.

“It has been isolated from the rest of the world precisely because of the decisions that Putin has made. In particular, the decision to wage this unjustified, illegal, brutal war against the people of Ukraine,” Price said.

The Department of State notes that the U.S. clearly warned Moscow that in the case of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia would suffer enormous losses.
