Russia failed to assemble combat infantry for successful advance in Donbas, – British intelligence

The department emphasized that over the past 30 days, Russia’s offensive against Bakhmut was the most successful in the Donbass, but during this time the occupiers managed to advance only 10 km.

At the same time, in other parts of the Donbass, where Russia tried to break through, the military advanced no more than 3 km in a month.

“Despite the continued heavy use of artillery in these areas, Russia has not been able to muster sufficient combat infantry to enable a more substantial advance,” British intelligence said.
